North Central Railway Recruitment  Application Fee : The Candidates applying for the post are required to submit APPLICATION FEE

North Central Railway Recruitment  Age Limit : The candidate must have attained the minimum age 15 years of age and should not have
completed 24 years of age as on 01/09/2021.

North Central Railway Recruitment  Educational Criteria Details : The Applicants should have already passed theprescribedQualification on the date of issue of this Notification i.e. 27/07/2021 as under:-

i) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.

ii) However, for Trade Welder (Gas & Electric), Wireman and Carpenter the minimum educational qualification is 8 th Class Pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate/ ITI Certificate in the notified trade issue by NCVT/ SCVT.

iii) TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:-ITI certificate/ National Trade Certificate affiliated to NCVT / SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade

North Central Railway Recruitment  Salary  : Rs. 18,000 – 56,900/-

North Central Railway Recruitment  Mode Of Selection : –

1.  Selection of the eligible Applicants for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both.

2. Further, for trades where minimum educational criteria is 8th pass + ITI, the merit list will be prepared by taking average of marks scored in 8th and ITI (in the trade in which Apprenticeship to be done) marks.

3. Short listed candidates, thus enlisted, will be called for document/ certificate verification to the extent of 1.5 times of the notified vacancies.

4. In case of two applicant having the same marks, the applicants having older age shall be preferred. In case the dates of birth are also same, then the. Applicants who passed matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first. There will be no written test or viva.

5. Final merit list will be prepared Unit wise, Trade wise & Community wise equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate.

6. Applicants need not send any copies of application / certificates / documents to RRC-NCR by post but have to upload the same online.

North Central Railway Recruitment  Calculation Of Marks :-

a. For the purpose of calculation of percentage of SSC / Matriculation marks Total Marks of all Subjects mentioned in the Mark sheet. (Not best of five but total of all subjects including optional subject / additional subject / alternate subject, etc). CGPA obtained by the applicants should be converted to actual marks and duly entered by the applicant in the online application. Please note that the final score should be calculated by adding the marks of all subjects not of any group of subjects.

b. For the purpose of calculation of percentage of ITI marks, average marks mentioned in consolidated statement of marks for all semesters of the trade applied i.e. Marks mentioned in the Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT, which is to be duly entered by the applicant in the online application will only be reckoned.

c. The applicant should note that in case any discrepancy in the Marks/CGPA entered in the online application and the Original Mark sheet / Certificate, is found at the time of Document Verification, the candidature of the Applicants will be rejected
summarily.

1.  The Trade wise/ Community wise Merit List will be issued by NCR for their notified slots. Applicants will be called by NCR as per the Merit in the relevant trade considering the Divisions/ Workshop opted by the candidate. In case of any shortfall in any particular trade in any given Division/Workshop. North Central Railway reserves the right to Re-distribute the candidates to other Divisions/Workshops.

2.  Final selection of Applicants would be subject to verification of original testimonials and Medical Fitness Certificate as per Annexure “H”.

3. Candidates in the Standby list will be issued Call Letters on the basis of details of absentees, medically unfit and rejected candidates from the Merit list allotted to the concerned Divisions / Workshop. The Call letters will be issued strictly in the order of Merit.

4.  The Tentative Schedule will be uploaded on our Website www.rrcpryj.org considering the pandemic situation at that time. Applicants are advised to be in readiness at short notice to report for Documents / Certificate Verification.

North Central Railway Recruitment Training Period & Stipend :-

1. Training Period:- The selected Applicants are required to undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 01 (ONE) year.

2.  Stipend: – Selected Candidates engaged as Apprentices will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a Stipend during the training at the prescribed rate as per extant rules governed by the concerned State Governments.
